About

I created Myorope originally to help with my strained back and tight hips while weightlifting, crossfitting, and training for triathlons. I knew self-massage and trigger-point therapy could help, but standard rolling tools weren't working for me. Foam rollers were too bulky to reach the right places, and a single ball left me on a constant hunt to find and stay near the right spots. I needed a more effective device.

After a few early prototypes, the current version of Myorope emerged. Having used it extensively myself (no more back and hip pain!) and after sharing it with others, Myorope is now available to you. I hope it can help you like it has helped me.

What is Myorope?

Myorope is a recovery, mobility, and self-massage tool that combines the benefits of a foam roller with the precision and pressure of a ball. It is made with the highest-quality rubber balls (the size of standard lacrosse balls) and soft, thick, durable rope. Adjacent, independently-rolling balls provide multiple stimulation points for self-massage and trigger-point therapy. Fastened with strong, flexible rope, Myorope has the unique ability to conform to the body and target and trap individual muscles, especially those that can't be isolated with traditional tools. Myorope was designed with athletes in mind but can be used by anyone to relieve pain and enhance movement.

Why Myorope?

Foam rollers are expensive and imprecise. They rub and compress large surfaces but are less able to massage individual muscles or smaller areas. The bulk of standard rollers also makes it difficult to reach deep into tissues that need the most work.

Physical therapists have known for years that a single lacrosse ball can be used for self-massage. But a single ball is small and often hard to place in the right spot, leaving you on a constant hunt to keep it just where you need it.

Enter Myorope. With individual pressure points from multiple adjacent balls that roll independently, Myorope combines the best aspects of rollers and balls. Using Myorope is like getting a skilled massage by hand - except you control the direction, the pressure, and the pace. Myorope allows you to easily target and trap individual muscles while applying the pressure you want where you want it rather than fighting with inferior tools.
